Dear Friends and Customers,
The dream of every Filipino is to try their luck to become an OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker), earn money for their family and to establish a business. The same happened to me.
I was lucky to find a job in UAE. I made wonderful friends from around the world, many of them are Indians. Being an avid traveller and food lover, I was amazed by the taste, aroma, skill, time and patience that happen around Indian cooking. The complexity and the enhanced health nature of Indian food inspired me to start an Indian restaurant someday. My journey began when I learnt the basics of Indian food during my 3 years stay in UAE.
On my return to Manila, I yielded to my inspiration and decided to launch Curried Away. My Indian friends travelled to Manila to help me and to train me on Indian food. Later I visited India to get formally trained in an Indian restaurant at Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India and in a home in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Our Specialities
We use more than 15 flavouring spices (Cardamom, Cinnamon, Cloves) seasoning agents (Lime, Yoghurt) and garnishing herbs (Curry leaves, Mint, Coriander, Parsley).
Curry in general refers to the Indian sauce that is used as a dip for breads or rice. The base content of curry sauce is tomato and onion flavoured with a mix of Indian spices. The meat is added to the gravy and cooked in slow fire which brings out the unique taste, texture and flavour. The preparation time of each item can vary between 45 minutes to 2 hours.
The Sola Iced Tea (a simple mixture of black tea leaves, natural fruit flavours, water and sugar) we serve is natural and brewed using only the finest ingredients. No artificial preservatives, colours and flavours are used in the production of Sola.
